Why Join the Basketball Booster Club?

The Booster Club is a non-profit organization administered by Bixby PS to provide additional resources to the Bixby Basketball program. (Men’s/Women’s 8th thru 12th Teams) We do this through Partnering with Businesses via Sponsorships, Fundraising and through Memberships / Volunteering. Membership is open to anyone.

These committees are volunteer based and are designed to enhance your child’s season. Be sure and sign up to help with the following:

Tournament

BHS hosts a tournament in December. This year it will be a Lady Spartan ONLY event. This is an important fundraiser for Bixby Basketball and a great economic boost for the City of Bixby. There are many volunteers needed for this tournament. Each grade will be responsible for one meal in the hospitality suite during the December tournament. The hospitality suite is for coaches, referees and security working the tournament.

Sponsorship

We ask local businesses to Partner with us so we can promote their goods / services in Whitey Ford Fieldhouse, this website, via Social Media or in our Game Day Program. All funds raised go toward the needs of the Girls / Boys 8th through 12th Teams.

The 8th Grade Players will be introduced at the next to last HOME Varsity Game. NEW THIS YEAR – all 8th Teams will be part of the Post-Season Banquet with the 9th thru 12th Teams.

A semi-formal night at the end of the season to honor the coaches and high school player’s hard work and accomplishments. The boys and girls will combine their banquet and celebrate this occasion with their parents and families. NEW THIS YEAR: ALL 8th TEAMS WILL BE ADDED. This adds considerable costs to the banquet. Please consider joining the Booster Club and/or Sponsoring Bixby Basketball in some way. Thank you.

Bixby Basketball Booster Club Standing Committees Document

The program showcases our Sponsorship Partners and ALL Bixby Basketball Teams. These are sold during JV . Varsity Home Games. If you have interest, please consider volunteering to help creating, designing and getting the Program printed.

During half time of the last home game (boys) all senior players, managers and trainers are recognized. Parents will escort their senior to middle court while the announcer reads a bio of each child. There is a small celebration after the game for seniors, families and friends.

Please bring a copy of your Food Handlers Certificate (wallet size) to the Concession Stand when you work so they can be kept in a Binder in the Concession Stand.  Thank You.
